1. Meeting your team
Your clinician will be following you through your child’s journey! We do our best to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to meet your clinician and ask any questions.

2. Assessment & Treatment Planning
Your clinician will assess your child’s limb and functional status as well as their goals. They will then develop a plan unique to your child.

3. Funding
Our team will help to guide you through the funding process.

4. Casting
Your clinician will take a shape capture of your child’s limb which will then be used to fabricate your child’s prosthesis or orthosis!

5. Device Fitting
Once the device has been fabricated, it is ready to be fit! The device will be fit on your child and adjustments will be made to ensure a comfortable and functional fit.

6. Follow-Up & Adjustments
Your clinician will continuously re-evaluate your child’s device, fit, and goals, making adjustments as necessary.

Lower Limb
Prosthetics: We treat all lower extremity amputations, including congenital limb deficiencies, rotationplasty amputations, and traumatic amputations.
Orthotics: We treat all causes of lower limb impairment with a custom orthosis, such as foot orthotics, AFO’s, KAFO’s, and more!

Upper Body
Prosthetics: We treat all upper extremity amputation levels and causes. We are experienced in myoelectric devices. Ask your prosthetist for more info!
Orthotics: We make all upper limb and trunk orthotics, including WHOs, TLSO’s, and more!

Cranial Remolding Orthosis
Helmet Therapy: We support babies with positional head shape concerns using custom 3D‑printed, two-stage helmets. Through our partnership with Talee, each helmet is designed for comfort, fit, and effective correction. Book a consult to see if helmet therapy is right for your child.

We aim to have a child in a prosthesis/orthosis early in their development/recovery to help with adoption into their life. Contact us to see if it is the right time to meet with a clinician!

It is best if your child wears clothes that can be easily pulled up to assess the limb (shorts/t-shirt are great!).

Since each device is custom made, our turnaround time is typically 2 weeks. Your clinician will confirm this when they re-book you for a fitting.

If you hear, see, or feel the device breaking, or if your child is complaining of new pain or new sores, come in to see your clinician ASAP!

Children grow, so the prosthesis/orthosis needs to as well! If there are new pressure spots (redness, sores, pain, etc.), your child can’t get into their device, or something is not working well, come in to see your clinician.
