Make sure to bring your prescription to the first appointment. It is best if you wear clothes that can be easily pulled up to assess the limb (shorts/t-shirt are great!). For lower limb amputations, make sure to bring a pair of shoes (preferably running shoes or sneakers)!

Since each device is custom made, our turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks. Your clinician will confirm this when they re-book you for a fitting.

If you hear, see, or feel the device breaking, or if you are noticing new pain or new sores, come in to see your clinician ASAP!
-

Your limb will change so the prosthesis needs to as well! If there are new pressure spots (redness, sores, pain, etc.), you are wearing many socks, you’ve noticed a change in limb volume/shape, or something is not working well, come in to see your clinician.

Use mild, unscented hand soap and warm water to wash your liner. Make sure to rinse your liner thoroughly and then let it air dry or pat it dry with a clean towel. When not wearing your liner, make sure to flip it right side out (gel that is against your skin is on the inside).
